Ruby C. Hislip, 89, of Coos Bay, Ore., passed away on February 6, 2012, at Baycrest Memory Care. Ruby was born in Coquille, Ore., on February 18, 1922. She worked as a waitress and a mill worker, from which she retired with a medical disability.
