The priests of Israel could not wear garments that would cause them to sweat- Ezekiel 44:15-18 Ezekiel 44: 23 contains the idea and explanation for this as well as for almost everything connected with the sanctuary services: the holiness and righteousness of God. "[The priests] should teach My people the difference beetween what is holy and unholy and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean." A recurring theme is, "Be My holy people because I the Lord am holy and have separated you from other people to be Mine." Le. 20: 26.
