Will add them to our pray list. That's really sad. I don't know her personally, but she did live in the area here for a while. I'm not sure but they might have been born and rasied here. Also when 3ABN came here to the College Church a number of years ago I got to meet her. Quite a nice person.

Heavenly Father, please be with Becky and her mother, Brenda. Help the doctors to know how to help Becky, and, in Your will, please heal her. Comfort Brenda and hold her close. Help her to trust her and give her the gift of faith to help her through this time. Touch both with Your healing hand.

My Heavenly Father, in your infinite wisdom and healing, we pray to you to touch our sister Becky, that her Physican through your powers will bring recovery to her adrenal gland and make her stronger.

Thanks Stan for this information--Yes, I know Brenda and will tell our group about this to add Becky to the list. My big sis is really close to her--they were co-authors on a book.

The day is not here yet for the 'power of the holy people' where they will do things like Jesus did. It is coming soon though!

I just talked with Brenda.

She wanted me to give you all an update on Becky.

A few days before Christmas, becky was given only
6 months to live. But, they did thyroid surgery, and
removed her thyroid and the tumor. She became cancer
free. BUT, now, there is a new tumor on the other
side of her neck. They don't know if it is malignant
or not, but there is a good chance it is.

Brenda said to tell everyone on CA thank you for their
prayers, and to ask that the prayers continue.

Dear Father,

I pray for Becky and her family and lift them up to you. For a family who is such a believer in prayer and your love, this is a test for them. I pray that their faith be strong even unto death if need be. But Lord may they not be shaken. These assaults on your loved ones only make us look with hope to the promised day of deliverance.

Please be with the tumours, Becky's body and the medical staff attending her. Please be with the family in a powerful way and I pray that Your presence may be felt in that situation and that Your name be glorified in this.

In the precious name of Jesus, we thank You. Amen !
