A few days ago I got "The Great Controversy: The Epic Story of the Battle Between Christ and Satan with New King James Version" Home Library Edition from Pacific Press Publishing.
My mom got one too. We didn't send for the books... they just were sent to us. Did anyone else here get this book? I haven't opened it yet.

Okay, on the back of the address label it says it's a gift from the local conference and the North Pacific Union Conference support team. So I guess all members in the NPUC Union got a copy. I wonder why other Unions didn't do the same thing??
It's a nice book....has color photos in it..

no, it's a softback. It says it's the companion to the new Desire of Ages.

LOL - I wonder if you contacted the Pacific Press or your Union/Conference, they would be amenable to sending out copies to their members. It really is quite a nice book.

Apparently it's been revised using the NKJV as well, so this book I have is the companion book to the new NKJV Desire of Ages Edition.
