I did a 3.5 mile run in the woods near my home this morning. The sun seems even brighter the colder it gets!    Alex Alex that's because the Sun is closer to the earth and it comes in at an angle. That's why its so bright. In the Summer when its further away its almost directly above us. But why am I telling you this. Your smarter that me, you should know that!!! pk

 Me at the top of Hope's Pass in CO. It was the 2nd stage of the 6 stage (6 days) TransRockies Run. This is at an elevation of 13,650 ft. I might be smiling but there isn't much air up there. Taken in August, '08 when I was 60. Alex Looks like in the winter time this is a ski area? pk

That's great scenery abelisle!
But how on earth can you run for 6 days and survive? Even if you sleep a third of the day? O_O

But how on earth can you run for 6 days and survive? Even if you sleep a third of the day? O_O Lots of training my young man, lots of it! Years, matter of fact. That's why the Bible talks about running a race, a race of endurance to gain a prize more important than a laurel wreath. And Pete, they don't ski there, just that once you get up to the timberlin (usually around 11,000 ft.) there is less trees and more open space. Alex

Each one of those plates that small has on the barbell look like 25lbs? Is that right or are they lighter than that, otherwise this guys lifting about 500lbs?

PK, those are olympic weights just like the ones I have. They are the standard. Each one of the plates weighs 45 lbs. and the bar weighs 45 lbs. Which means he has 495 lbs, there. LOL at myself Richard. I was pretty far off on the weight of each plate but pretty close as to the total weight of what he's lifting. pk
