Of all the winter sports, I think the bobsledding looks like the funnest one to try. Anyone else?

I cannot think of any of them that I am likely to try, and bobsledding would be right down the bottom of that list :)

Here is a friend's picture of his kids holding the torch last night (I could have been there to see this!)

I carried the Summer Olympic Torch on it's way to LA ... some years ago. I think it is so cool that they take it around now for people to experience. This is something these young ones will remember for the rest of their lives.

Dgrimm, I have seen Cool Runnings, some years ago, I enjoyed it. Weren't they the ones that got disqualified because they had put on too much weight?

Uncle Woody--Do you have pictures? That would be cool to see. How long did you get to carry it for?

General post part--How do they pick who runs with the torch? Do people just show up and it is a random thing? Or it there a contest, or what exactly?

NO the JAMACAN TEAM has a used bob sled and it came
apart but the got out and pick up the sled and carried
it arcoss the finish line
