The news today was headlined by the news that Tiger Woods plans to issue an apology to calm down his sponsors. He is hopeful that this will put to bed the criticism and abandonment by the multi-million dollar companies that sponsor Woods.

He then hopes to return to golf.

Do you feel this is good for Tiger to do?

Do you support the need to apologize for a private and family affair?

Not sure how I feel about this. It should be private, but its not.

My take on this is multi-faceted. 1) Keep the golf separate from personal family issues 2) This act on his part is endorsement/politically correct. Look at all the Nike gear he's wearing in these few days before making his statement. 3) If he wins a big tournament soon, watch how quickly people will forget and possibly forgive?

You would think this was the news event of the century. I can't get away from it - it is on all the news outlets, sports outlets. If you want to watch anything else you have to watch soap operas.

Thank God ... Tiger is NOT dead . Let's praise God he still has a chance to do good in this life.

I am SO anxious for him to return to golf. I hope he gets healed soon.

Perhaps the only way to be healed from this is to become a unique (get the pun) person.

I think Tiger is a VERY unique person . So far that hasn't helped him.

WELL the 1st step is to for a person to say they

but he will need to realize that he needs a higher

I hope everyone leaves Tiger Woods alone and doesn't ask him personal questions. When I think of all the other Hollywood celebrities that are alcoholic, step out on their spouse, get divorces, and on drugs, but nobody corners them and makes a big issue out of it.... Leave Tiger alone!

I'm watching Tiger playing golf as we speak. He's running around the course like he did when he was a teenager. I think he's excited to be back on the course. And from the response of the crowds ... I'd say that he has been 'forgiven'. All things are good.
