The Lutheran Church has split, think that might happen to us?

Alexander It has been announced that one of the Lutheran Churches split over the various Liberal/not-Conservative actions or lifestyle. No, I don't like that there will be a major split. Of course, there might be small break offs. But actually I am fine with that. If someone like Samuel Koranteng-Pipim decides that ordaining women or treating gays and lesbians are equal in our community is too far, and he breaks away from the church - it will be more his loss then ours. And he probably knows that.
If one looks at the history of congregations or movements who have broken away, they tend to not flourish.
