Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Emphasis mine.

They should go in peace (ala Marvin K. Mooney).

Illustration. If a Catholic priest becomes convinced that the Roman Church is the Babylon of prophecy and accepts and starts keeping the sabbath, he has a moral & ethical obligation to leave the Roman Church. If "educated" :) people are convinced of evolution, they should leave us to our delusions (that God actually means what He says) and go elsewhere. There are plenty of liberal, compromising churches they can choose from.

All the best,

Like Woody said, a woman. Does the President have to be an Ordained minister? I haven't check the bylaws but I'm sure that's the case. I guess all we would have to do is to commission her.

Yep ... just commission her and get on with things. I know of someone to nominate. She would be great for the job. At least from what I've observated first hand. She knows how to order around if that's a good quality.

3. Organizational Structure: Who needs Unions anyway? Isn't it time just to conceded that congregationalism just works better in some places?

4. GC President: Isn't it time for a President that is more representative of the majority of Adventists?

I didn't want to hijack the other GC thread.
I should like to inquire why any of these are "key issues;" I mean is this just you saying so, or do you have some reference point for saying this?

Dear Laz.

"The greatest want in the world is the want of men. Men who will not be bought or sold. Men who in their inmost souls are true and honest. Men who do not fear to call sin by its right name. Men who's conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole.
Men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall."

This is still true in 2010, even more so !

This is really me saying so. My only real reference point is what I have picked up over the years as the concerns the world church. You are free to say that they are not the key issues or suggest others.
